About MediaClick Apps

InfoWorld recently asked Joanna Cox, President of MediaClick Apps, to describe her business. This was her response: "Back in 2001 I left my job as the lead software developer at a small educational products company to start my own company. I couldn't afford to hire employees or lease office space. I also had no clients and no income. I sold my house and furniture and lived in a furnished condo that a friend offered who graciously allowed me to live rent free for 9 months while she lived in her summer home in NY.

My first project was to develop an educational application that could be used by first and second grade learners. What the market needed, at that time, was a talking, interactive learning application that could be used by learners that were too young to read. I did everything myself ... from educational content to artwork to voice files to support and marketing material. To make a long story short, my creation, PTstudy, was a complete success. About a year after my first sketches the application was released and income was created. I eventually sold the app to a huge distributor. Since 2002 over 6000 educational organizations have purchased licenses.

welcomeWith a better foundation I grew the business into a successful software development and publishing company. We added clients, employees, proprietary products and a long list of innovative solutions with our branding.

We are always anxious to take on new clients and challenges. We have several mobile apps in the pipeline and we are eager to partner with anyone who needs our talents and assistance."
